The Opportunistic Businessman Christian No, It's not Jealousy : It's Principal By Adam Mundorf The Opportunistic Businessman Christian : Yes Men I see it everyday.  The 'Christian' business leader who lives a lavish life.  The 'Christian' business leader who refuses to close on Sundays.  The 'Christian' business leader who has multiple divorces and routinely cheats on his wife.  The 'Christian' business leaders who allow trans/gays/drug addicts/mentally sick to overwhelm the company because they lack a backbone.  The 'Christian' business leaders who don't care how much food, money or animal's lives they waste just to make a buck and worst of all just for appearances.  The 'Christian' business leader who gives pennies to charities and employees while maintaining an overseas vacation home(s).  The 'Christian' business leader who never says thank you but expects more and more. This is the definition of hypocritical,

It Will Take Years - Not Weeks  Be Kind to Yourself and Have Patience By Adam Mundorf It Will Take Years - Not Weeks When, it comes to improving your life, people overestimate what they can do in weeks but underestimate what can be achieved in a year.  To make meaningful progress in any facet of life will take time, effort and patience.  Rome was not built in a day and it most certainly wasn't destroyed in one either.  All of the above also requires that you be kind to yourself.  Let me explain.   Be Kind to Yourself and Have Patience I oftentimes see people get very discouraged with weight loss or getting out of financial debt.  When I ask how long they've been working on their problems, they will tell me a week or even a month.  I say that is not enough time.  You did not gain that weight over the course of weeks but probably years.  The same goes for debt.  You did not max out the credit cards over the course of weeks but probably years of bad financial decisions put you in

Why Don't 'Normal' People Get Any Praise? The Strong Get Nothing But Grief I See You by Adam Mundorf Why Don't 'Normal' People Get Any Praise? Just because someone doesn't fall victim to vices does not mean that they do not have struggles themselves.  It just means they have a stronger mental, emotional and physical fortitude than those who do fall prey to such vices.  People in the work place are being praised for sobriety and oftentimes blaming lack of performance on their inability to handle stress thus falling to hard drugs or depression.  Fuck that.  They use their lack of fortitude as a weapon of pity.  The man/woman who keeps on keeping on, without showing any signs of weakness often gets the short end of the stick.  It becomes a competition of who has the most 'mental illnesses'.  Don't tell so and so they're under-performing!  They might relapse!  Don't be too tough on so and so!  You might cause them to kill themselves!  Go ah
